Position: We are seeking a SVQ Care Assessor to be based at our Stornoway campus.

Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for achieving the recruitment, retention and outcome targets of candidates on work-based SVQ Care programmes, liaising with candidates, employers and various College staff/departments to ensure an excellent candidate experience and compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting programme evaluation, enhancement and continuing personal development.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidate will hold a relevant qualification in the subject area - at minimum SVQ Level 3 but ideally at Level 4 (SCQF Level 8) or have comparable knowledge and experience in the care sector and will ideally hold a valid workplace assessing or verifying qualification, although training can be given.

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
