Position: We are seeking a Classroom Auxiliary, to be based at our Stornoway campus.

Responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for working within the Learning Support team to provide ongoing support to learners with disabilities and or additional support needs on a 1-1 basis, including reader/scribe/support for assignments, assessments, and examinations necessary for learners. 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will have an HNC level qualification or hold HNC units, and be able to demonstrate having worked in a role where you can show empathy and understanding.  The suitable candidates will have excellent communication and IT skills, and be able to adapt their communication style/approach to support a variety of situations/student needs.

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
