Student Story

"I want to get into the merchant navy. The two maritime courses in Mallaig have shown me what’s involved with work at sea and will help with my application to deck officer cadetship. We do classroom work like ship stability, chart work and tidal calculations as well as working for RYA tickets, such as Power Boat and Day Skipper, which are always useful for maritime employment if you don’t want to go on to study further."
