SAIC funded places
Fully Funded MSc Places
Fully funded places on our Sustainable Rural Development MSc are available via the Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre.
How can I get a fully funded MSc place?
The key to a fully funded MSc place is that you undertake your research project on an industry-identified issue relevant to Scottish aquaculture, giving you a heightened awareness of the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector.
In addition, SAIC hosts a series of workshops throughout the academic year, where you can get the perspective of sector professionals, make valuable connections for your future career, and forge useful ties with peers at other universities.
Am I eligible?
You need to meet SFC (Scottish Funding Council) Scottish domicile requirements. Currently, the criteria require that fully funded students have been living in Scotland for the last three years for reasons other than education. The SAIC can cover full tuition fees for students on approved SAIC MSc programmes. (This funding agreement is between SAIC and each university, not the student.)
