Study Hospitality and Tourism
Hospitality and tourism remain at the heart of our local economy with an increasing focus on entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Tourism, including hospitality, is one of the Scottish Government’s six growth sectors. Millions of visitors flock to our shores every year, creating huge potential for employment in this exciting and vibrant sector - whether it’s training as a professional chef, starting your own catering/private hire business, managing a visitor experience centre or hotel, becoming a guide, or working in retail.
Our strong links with industry benefits hospitality and professional cookery students through guest lecturers, demos from local and celebrity chefs, trips to visit local businesses and the chance to attend industry conferences.
Students will receive hands-on training, learning in our professional kitchens and training restaurants alongside our experienced teaching staff.
