October Holidays

• Further Education - students studying courses up to and including SCQF Level 6
  Two weeks holiday from Monday 14th October to Friday 25th October (inclusive).
• Higher Education - students studying courses at SCQF Level 7 and above
  One week holiday from Monday 14th October to Friday 18th October (inclusive)

You will find a range of useful organisations and services that are available to students over the holidays on our Cost of Living Support page including food banks and financial support. You can also find resources to support your wellbeing and mental health.

Emergency/urgent help

If you're in immediate danger or hurting yourself or others:

• Go directly to the Accident & Emergency (A&E) department of your local hospital to get help
• Call 999 to request an ambulance if you are unable to reach the hospital yourself

If you're feeling distressed and need urgent support:

• Contact your GP surgery to request an emergency appointment
• NHS 24's 111 service is here to provide urgent care advice and mental health support day or night. NHS 24 Information about the Coronavirus Mobile Testing Unit can be found on the NHS Highland Facebook page
