This course is aimed towards those considering entering a teaching profession. It is designed to develop some of the core skills for teaching and consists of the following:
- Degree Module: Thinking and Writing for Study, Work and Life.
- SQA Higher National unit: Supporting Children and Young People with Additional Support Needs.

Attend timetabled classes at college, your school or online for some of your learning and assessments. You will also access Brightspace, our virtual learning environment, or Google classrooms for self-directed study.

- Supporting Children and Young People with Additional Support Needs
This is designed to enable learners to gain knowledge and understanding of additional support needs of children and young people and how to meet those needs in practice in relation to current legislation and policy. The unit will also enable learners to explore agencies and professionals engaged in offering support to children and young people with additional support needs and their families.
- Thinking and Writing for Study, Work and Life

After successfully completing a degree:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education
- Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education
Entry requirements
1 Higher at A-C in English or a Humanities subject.
