HISA 2025 Elections: New Student Reps Announced

UHI North, West and Hebrides is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 HISA Student Elections, with new representatives elected to represent students across our 19 centres and campuses across the North and West Highlands to Skye and the Outer Hebrides. These newly elected officers will play a key role in supporting and advocating for students during the upcoming academic year.

The election saw strong participation from students, with an impressive turnout of 946 votes. This increase in engagement highlights the growing importance of student voices in shaping the college and university experience.

The Highlands and Islands Students’ Association (HISA) is the student-led organisation that represents all students across the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). HISA’s mission is to amplify student voices, advocate for their needs, and provide opportunities for students to shape their educational experience. From academic issues to student wellbeing, HISA is there to support, guide, and empower students at every stage of their university journey.
