Carpentry and Joinery SCQF 6 (Stornoway and Thurso) Modern Apprenticeship

What is special about this course?

Carpentry and Joinery play an essential role in the success of a construction organisation. This programme has been designed to develop the skills and knowledge required to be an effective tradesperson in this discipline allowing you to undertake a range of complex tasks.

This Modern Apprenticeship initiative offers people the chance to work towards achieving an SVQ and a PDA in Carpentry and Joinery (Construction) at SCQF Level 6. The programme combines work-based and college training and provides the dual benefit of students gaining a nationally recognised qualification while being paid as they work.
