We will guide you as you work with DSLR's, graphics tablets, HMD's, Smartphones, 3D Capture and network hosting solutions. You will explore how to create everything from mobile games to broadcast news.
You will be surrounded by talented, creative, and technically minded students. You will be challenged, inspired and above all supported.
We continue to engage with XpoNorth, Scotland's Leading Creative and Digital Industries festival. This gives you exposure to the cutting edge of tech and creative development, a great opportunity to see what’s available in the work market.
Where possible, you may have the opportunity for work placements, some of which are commercial projects.

Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are required.
- you should have a keen interest in computing
- you will need basic computing skills to access your online classroom
- students should be at least 16 at the start of their course
- mature students are very welcome
We’ll be inviting you, by email, to attend course information sessions between now and the start of your course. We urge you to come along if at all possible.

How will I study my course?
- Full Time
- Online
You normally need to commit to 18 hours per week (2-3 days) of learning time consisting of timetabled learning and self-directed study.
You will learn online through timetabled classes delivered by a lecturer in a virtual classroom. You’ll use our virtual learning environment to access resources, complete assessments, and chat to your lecturer and classmates. You will also complete regular and flexible personal study which most students choose to do from home.
You will be assessed by means of a combination of practical tasks and open and closed book assessments throughout the year. You may have to attend a college centre or other exam centre for some of these – we can discuss this with you on application.
