What is special about this course?
This is a friendly, easy-going, and fun course for anyone who would like to improve their skills.
We aim to support and encourage students to thrive, using real-life and relevant topics to help build on current skills, achievements, and experiences, and to introduce new ones.
Our lecturers help students build the tools to explore, develop and maintain healthy relationships at all levels enabling them to contribute to their community with the skills required to progress in life and work.
Entry requirements
- Ability to communicate
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow Health, Safety and Hygiene policies.
(Students who have full-time carers will require authority for those carers to join them at college from their agency/employer. All carers will require a current DBS.)
- Core Skills - Writing, Reading, Communication.
- Numeracy, Money, Measurements.
- I.T., Social Media and essential use apps.
- Working with other people.
- Improving learning.
- Community Projects and Individual Projects.
