Remote Operating Vehicles (ROVs) are at the forefront of marine technology, used for underwater exploration, construction and maintenance. There is a huge global demand in essential industries like renewable energy, telecommunications and marine research as well as the traditional oil and gas sector.
We’ve joined with training specialist DRIFT Offshore to develop and deliver a new, industry-aligned course to equip students with the essential technical knowledge and career access to enter the fast-growing subsea and offshore sectors.
This introductory training course will be based at our Fort William campus on Loch Linnhe and will focus on the operation of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), trenching, and subsea equipment.
