Our Mallaig tree planting celebration took place in June 2022.
Principal and Chief Executive Lydia Rohmer, Mallaig staff member Fiona MacKellaig were joined by Chair of the Mallaig Community Council Sandra McLean and NQ Countryside Skills & Ranger training student Maria Kuhn to plant a small grove of Scots Pine in the Circular Walk.
Special thanks go to Nicola Robertson from Mallaig Community Council for highlighting the Circular Walk as a potential location and to Nevis Estates and Mallaig Common Grazings for their kind permission to plant the trees.
