Mallaig
At our Mallaig College centre, we offer a unique blend of courses relevant to our local community, alongside welcoming students from afar who want to join Scotland's growing marine industry.
We're conscious of the weather dependent industries, remoteness and logistical barriers that are part of our geography and endeavour to be as flexible and accommodating as possible in our delivery, particularly with marine based courses.
All of our trainers are currently employed in maritime industries and include a RNLI trainer, Merchant Navy captain and Master Mariner as well as ex fishing skippers who are happy to pass on generations of inherited knowledge and experience alongside the RYA syllabus.
At Mallaig, our dedicated staff are committed to providing personalised support, ensuring you receive the guidance and assistance you need throughout your academic journey
